How Do I Know All of This? This Was My Life.
 When I first became a life coach I knew nothing about starting, growing or
sustaining a solo-entrepreneurship. So I took one business building course after
another, followed by a plethora of seminars on marketing, sales and how to
attract your ideal clients.
This was only the beginning of a very long, expensive and frustrating journey.
None of these courses helped me to focus on the one thing that made my business
different than any other business on the planet. Nor did they explain that that
same thing was so powerful it could sabotage my business at any given moment and
stop me dead in my tracks. That one thing, of course, was me.
You see although I had the confidence and know-how to be a great coach, I was
operating on an old belief system that caused me to doubt things like my
worthiness, value and ability to be the owner of a successful business.

I ignored all this negative self-talk and plowed through the assignments I was
given by the gurus I was following. Without fail whenever I would start to see
some progress and clients started coming in, I would find a way to sabotage my
efforts and the phone would stop ringing.
I lost sight of the fact that facing your demons is the only way to disempower
them. I was too determined to make my business work and I put my SELF at the
bottom of my ‘to-do’ list.
 I thought, “I have to figure out a way to make this happen or I’m going to have
to close my doors”. Then the questions like “What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I
get this right?” would cloud my mind. Not only that, but I felt so isolated. I
was in my home office most of the day and it got lonely. My confidence was shot.
Then came the time when I was ready to throw in the towel. I found yet another
guru to follow that promised their program was the answer to my prayers. I
invested more money that I didn’t have to attend the event and I walked away
feeling duped. Again.
“That’s it! I can’t do this anymore!” I was so frustrated, overwhelmed and
defeated that I figured any 9-5 had to be better than this. But then something
magical happened. There was a force at play that I had not yet come to fully
understand and appreciate. As I threw my hands up in defeat screaming “Uncle!” a
little voice inside got louder.
This voice told me that no matter how hard things got, coaching and mentoring
women is what I am here to do and I need to suck it up and find a way to keep
going and create a solution. This voice was my Inner Wisdom.
In all the chaos and distraction of information overload and listening to
everyone except myself I lost my connection with my SELF. As a coach I know how
crucial this connection is in everyday life. But to be without it while trying
to build MY business was professional suicide.
It was in that moment that I made my decision and this is what I realized and
committed to:

Faith, Confidence and Surrender
 For the first time in my life I knew I was not alone. I finally understood about
the power of my Inner Wisdom and for me that translated into Higher Power. Now
this is not about religion, at least not for me. It’s about knowing that no
matter what life sends my way I have a connection with my SELF and my SPIRIT
that will guide and support me with grace, love and confidence.
I have faith that the decisions I make are the right ones for me and that if
they are not I have the confidence to embrace what I need to learn from that
experience and surrender to the greater plan of the Universe.
This freedom has allowed me to let go of old limiting beliefs and create a whole
new belief system that welcomes unlimited success, happiness, prosperity and
abundance.
I am now in the driver’s seat fully participating in my life with vigor and
enthusiasm. I no longer sit in the passenger’s seat watching it pass me by
feeling out of control and defeated.
And best of all I am showing up in my business in a BIG way! Getting
uncomfortable and stretching beyond my comfort zone is part of my ‘things to do
today’ requirements. I have stepped into my power and the results have been more
delicious clients, better richer programs and the discovery of new strengths and
skills I never knew I had.
I know that I have value to share with the world and that is my purpose. I no
longer fear that gift, or worry that I am not worthy of it. There is no way that
I can have this passion for helping women without having the gift to fulfill
that passion.
My deepest desire is that you understand that is true for your passion too!

have been a successful manager with my company for 17 years. I’m a
working mother of two and a devoted wife. My professional world has
